In order to support the continuous professional development of actuaries and insurance practitioners in Indonesia, the Indonesian Actuarial Society (PAI) organizes a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) webinar as part of its commitment to enhancing industry knowledge and capabilities. The health insurance industry is currently undergoing a significant transformation driven by regulatory changes, rising healthcare costs, evolving customer expectations, and rapid advancements in technology and data analytics. In this dynamic environment, actuaries are no longer limited to technical roles but are increasingly expected to play a strategic role in shaping sustainable health insurance models. This webinar, titled “The Actuary’s Role in Reinventing Health Insurance: Turning Regulation into Sustainable Strategy”, aims to provide comprehensive insights into how global trends, data, and regulatory developments can be translated into actionable and sustainable strategies within the health insurance sector. The discussion will be structured into two key perspectives: 1. Regional Trends: Pricing, Risk, and Future Health Insurance Models, which highlights global and regional developments in pricing, risk management, and emerging business models, including the impact of technology and advanced analytics. 2. Turning Regulation into Sustainable Health Strategy, which focuses on how regulatory frameworks can be operationalized into effective, sustainable, and commercially viable health insurance strategies. This event is expected to serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, strategic thinking, and professional discussion among actuaries and industry practitioners navigating the transformation of health insurance.
